Sweet Paul Feature: “Fostering the Path Home”
Our good friend Dorie Herman, mom to Chloe Kardoggian and active Fospice supporter, wrote a wonderful article featuring Foster Dogs Inc in Sweet Paul Magazine’s Summer 2016 issue. Sweet Paul is a visually stunning seasonal “lifestyle magazine for anyone looking to make simple, elegant meals and stylishly easy crafts for the home.” It’s great to see stories like this in major magazines, promoting kindness to animals.
The article states, “Beyond traditional fostering, Foster Dogs is also committed to several related initiatives. Fospice places homeless elderly and terminally ill dogs in permanent foster homes and supplies them with vet care and creature comforts. Operation Foster Bound shines a light on hard-to-place fosters stuck in kennels and shelters and gets them into homes by providing training, reimbursement for food, and even a custom cartoon of the dog.”
“There are homeless dogs all over the country that are brought to New York City, but if more people nationwide foster in their city, more dogs’ lives can be saved.”
