Adopt Me, Foster Me, We Need Homes

Meet Colorado the Mellow Lab Mix

7/2017: Still looking for a foster home starting ASAP or adopter. 6 years old, 50 lbs. Male Black Lab/Pit Bull mix. Fine with dog-savvy cats! Scroll to bottom of this post for contact info.

4/2017: From his current owner: Colorado is neutered and up to date on all shots; he’s a healthy 6 year old dog. He is very timid and shy with strangers, but is very sweet once he knows you. When he meets someone new, he can get mouthy at first – and he should not live with kids.

He is low energy and is a huge couch potato. He is not friendly to other dogs, so must be the only pet. I adopted him in 2014, but have to give him up for varying personal reasons. He walks fine on a leash.

Colorado knows tricks such as give paw, sit, down, stay, jump, & roll on your belly. He loves his crate and is completely house trained. Never ever barks or destroys any furniture. He’s very low energy and mostly sleeps all day.

His owner will cover the adoption fee from Heavenly Angels, any transport costs, and will provide toys/crate/dog bed etc.

Care of Heavenly Angel Animal Rescue. Located in Jersey City, NJ.
