Adopt Me, We Need Homes

Meet Elliot the Border Collie / Corgi Mix

8/24/17 UPDATE: FOSTERED! Looking for adopter.

8/17/17: Looking for a foster home or adopter. 1 year old, 20 lbs. Male Border Collie / Corgi. Good with dogs! Scroll to bottom of this post for contact info.

Elliott is a suuuuper smart low rider who never stops playing and exploring!  At 11 months, he’s already been through a lot.  He was rescued from a Texas shelter, coming to us completely shut down.  He took a few days to warm up but then did quite well.  With every foster home he’s stayed with he’s quickly made friends.  He simply loves having a dog friend to play with 24/7 and is friendly and respectful of other dogs.  He needs some work with on leash greetings as well as new people approaching him.  His perfect adopter or foster will understand Elliott is crazy smart and needs some guidance to become the best he can be.  He would be a fantastic second dog in any home, but if you were willing to look into daycare or pack walks he’d learn to be ok solo during the day while you’re at work.
