Adopt Me, We Need Homes

Meet Kane the Goofball Pittie

4/2017: Still looking for a home!

3/2017: Looking for a foster home or adopter. 3 years old, 55 lbs. Male Pit Bull Mix. Scroll to bottom of this post for contact info.

If you’re looking for a cross between a goofball, a snugglebug and a lovable kind of guy, meet Kane!

He hasn’t had the easiest start in life, ending up as a survivor of the ACC, but boy, that hasn’t gotten him down! He’s the kind of pooch who wakes up in themorning and gives you a look that says, “What are we going to do today?!”

With the good natured personality of a boxer and the joie de vivre of a pitbull, he really takes life at it’s best.

Kane loves cuddling on the couch as much as trotting away on a walk or trail hike. He would definitely do best with a human (or humans) who could give him regular exercise on a daily basis.

Good boy that he is, Kane was never taught proper doggie manners, so his foster has paid for a wonderful trainer to work with him to get him prepared for an amazing life with his forever family. The trainer also offered to work with his adopters after, as well, which is a huge plus for all.

Kane loves to be the center of attention, so he’d probably do best as a solo dog, but his trainer is willing to work with his adoptive family if they already have a dog at home.

Kane is also very good with kids, but he’s a strong guy. He’d likely do best in a home with kids over 8 that are dog-savvy, but you can meet him to find out.

He is up to date on vaccinations, neutered and microchipped.

Care of Rebound Hounds. Located in Waterbury, CT.
