Connecting homeless dogs with people who want to foster!

Adopt Me, We Need Homes

Meet Libby the Glorious Pittie

Looking for an adopter, currently in foster care. 9 years old, 65 lbs. Pit Bull Mix. Good with dogs and kids! Scroll to bottom of this post for contact info.

See Libby’s previous listing on last September:

From her rescuers: Libby’s former “family” dumped her in NYC’s high kill shelter when they moved without her. She is such a feeling and human-like dog that was absolutely devastated at the betrayal of her most trusted people she had in the world. We pulled her with moments to spare on the 4th of July 2016 and appropriately named her Liberty. Our girl is in foster and patiently awaiting her fairytale ending.

Libby is the best companion you could ask for; she will chill on the couch for days if that’s what her human desires, or happily jump in the car for a quick trip to the market or an impromptu road trip. She is perfectly housebroken and crate trained, although she doesn’t need to be crated at all. She’s great with kids and she does well with most like-sized male dogs.

Libby will do best where she has access to a backyard to play. Please consider making all Libby’s dreams come true. She is fully vetted and ready to meet you.

Care of Redemption Rescues. Located in Massapequa, Long Island.
