Lil Mama the Adorable Pocket Pittie – ADOPTED

4/14/17: ADOPTED!

3/8/17: Looking for an adopter, currently in foster care. 2-3 years old, about 40 lbs. Female Pocket Pittie. Good with dogs and kids.

From her foster mom: Lil’ Mama is a beautiful and adorable “pocket pittie” weighing about approximately 40 pounds. I feel lucky to have spent any amount of time with this special soul. Mama has been through a lot in her 2 or 3 years. We suspect she was used for breeding and discarded. It’s her turn to be the happy dog she was always meant to be!

Mama is a uniquely perfect mixture of relaxed in the house and a fun, joyful companion outside. She’s housebroken, quiet and well behaved in the house (she loves to nap or play with toys and can keep herself entertained for hours). The other side of her absolutely LOVES being outside! She gets the biggest, cutest smile when she hears her leash coming out of the closet! She would be a great jogging buddy and would love to join you on adventures – the park, the beach, you name it!

Lil Mama is up to date on vaccinations and spayed.

She could use some training on the leash, as she can pull excitedly on her walks. She is extremely smart and attentive (always looking for cues and taking everything in), and would take to any training quickly and positively. It’s incredibly rewarding to see this sweetheart learn about  receiving love and affection as she comes out of her shell more every day.

Lil Mama absolutely loves other dogs and would thrive with another pup in the home! She has spent time in doggy daycare and gets along perfectly with every dog she meets! Additionally, she greets every dog on the street in a friendly and often playful manner. It’s a joy to watch her make friends. She also really likes children and would love a family! We just suggest slightly older children only because of her exuberant play and her size relative to a small child.

This is one special dog who will make some lucky person or family very happy.
