Foster Me, We Need Homes

Meet Lizzy the Pregnant Pittie

Looking for a foster home: 2-month commitment while puppies grow. 2 years old, 75 lbs. Pit Bull Mix. Good with dogs, cats, kids! Scroll to bottom of this post for contact info.

From her rescuers: Lizzy is a pregnant mama we just rescued from a shelter in South Carolina, and need to secure a long-term foster ASAP. Look at her precious face, she’s 2 years old, heartworm positive and expected to give birth in less than 2 weeks.

Lizzy needs to give birth to her babies in a warm foster home and needs someone to step up to the plate for her. She is a complete love of a dog and a joy to be around. She is calm, sweet and gentle with all humans and dogs she has interacted with.

Care of Rescue City. Located in NYC.

Things to keep in mind: Adoption fee applies if you plan to adopt, unless otherwise stated (Foster caretakers must pay adoption fee if they choose to adopt). You may be required to complete a foster/adoption application prior to meeting the dog. Please check with your landlord about your building’s pet policy and of course talk to your roommates. The dog is the legal property of the rescue organization until an adoption contract is signed.
