Meet Parsnip the Derpy Senior Chi

7/10/17: In foster care, looking for adopter. 5 lbs, about 9 yrs old. MEET HIM 7/13 AT Brokers For Barkers! Scroll to bottom of this post for contact info.

Parsnip is a quirky little man! He has a ton of personality in a tiny body. He is a typical Chi in that he loves to boss you around- if you’re not making his breakfast fast enough, or if you’re not holding him in your lap he’ll let you know how he feels! He loves to give little kisses and curl up on top of his people.

Parsnip spent his whole life used as a breeding dog before he was rescued so he might occasionally look like a little weirdo with his missing teeth and overlapping ribs but he is the cutest little weirdo you will ever meet. Because he is missing soo many teeth, his tongue sticks out (how cute!) which causes him to make super derpy faces.

He loves to play with other dogs – currently in foster with a large active dog @pigpenthepittie. Because he’s so tiny, he needs a patient play-buddy.

He is mostly crate trained. He has the best little tongue always hanging out! Up to date on vaccinations, neutered, with just 3 teeth left (they are sparkling clean though!)

Located in Long Island City, care of Friends with Four Paws
