Pickles the Affectionate Shep Mix – ADOPTED
3/2017: Looking for an adopter, currently in foster care. Just turned 1 year old, 30 lbs. Female Shepherd/Cattle Dog mix. Good with dogs!
Pickles was recently rescued from a backyard breeder in New Jersey, along with her mom, Penny, and her litter mates, Pookie and Pepper. All her family members have been adopted and now Miss Pickles is looking for a forever home of her own!
Pickles is still acclimating to city life, since it’s a big change from her time spent in the country. She is vaccinated, spayed and up to date on her shots.
She loves to show off her tricks during obedience training and knows how to: sit, look, lay down, and touch. She is great with other dogs and feels more secure in a pack of dogs (or people) on walks. She loves her bed and getting belly rubs. Pickles is the most affectionate dog. All she wants to do is cuddle and play with her human.
Because she is a puppy, she will need a forever family that can help her learn about housebreaking and enhance her beginning obedience training. She is being crated and working on her housebreaking everyday. Pickle’s perfect forever home is one where she can cuddle all day every day, but she is also looking for someone who will throw her favorite squeaky toys so she can play fetch.
