Adopt Me, We Need Homes

Meet Snow the Goofy Aussie Mix

Looking for an adopter. 10 months years old, 40 lbs. Aussie mix. Good with dogs! Scroll to bottom of this post for contact info.

Meet Snow! This goofy gal is all smiles, all the time. She’s a fun-loving youngster who loves playing with her canine foster sibling and getting in a good cuddle sesh with her human. This Aussie/Hound mix is the perfect combo of beauty and brains, wrapped in a lovably cuddly package. Snow is just under 1 year old, weighs around 40 lbs, and is located in Brooklyn, NY.

Snow is a wonderful dog who sadly just can’t find a home. She was rescued as a street dog around 3-4 months– terrified of everything and almost feral. Sweeeeeet as sugar though! She did get adopted but the family wasn’t able to get her the training and time needed to help her blossom. She’s not “special needs” like most people think of, but she’s definitely a special girl.

With her amazing foster she has come such a long, long way since she was rescued! She does need adopters who will go slow with her, have patience, and see what an amazing dog she is under the fear.

Because of her shy, timid nature, a home with older kids is best–kids old enough to respect her boundaries. She has never show any aggression towards people so we aren’t concerned about her hurting a young child, but a child who can’t understand her boundaries will cause her unnecessary anxiety. She does love cuddles though and will be a great companion for a dog savvy kid!

She is spayed and fully vaccinated!
