Suzie the Sweet Boxer Mix – ADOPTED!
UPDATE 4/12/17: Our FIRST #OperationFosterBound 2017 dog has officially been ADOPTED! What a happy tale, going from shelter life to a great foster home to a wonderful adoptive home – what’s better than that? Well, we’ve matched her $250 adoption fee to support her rescue group in saving more dogs like her!
3/28/17: In foster care through Foster Dogs, looking for adopter. Part of OPERATION FOSTER BOUND! 8 years old, 56 lbs, good with dogs.
Says Susie’s Senior Dogs: 8 year old foster dog Suzie is proving to be the dream girl, dream dog, dreamboat who we knew she was! Her foster mom Katy, updates: “She is amazing. She’s such a little sleeper! All day just hung out and snoozed on the couch. She’s great. So adaptable and easy. She also knows all of her commands: sit. Shake. Lay down. And wait for her food.”
She had been surrendered to the city shelter with the reason given as “new baby and no time” for Suzie. She was spotted by Erin of Susie’s Senior Dogs, as well as volunteer Caitlyn, and the rest is history. With the teamwork of Foster Dogs and Shelter Chic, Suzie was able to move into foster care with Katy & Julia while she waits for her forever home. That was two weeks ago. And now it’s time for Suzie to find a family of her own.
Suzie is every bit of amazing that we knew she would be! She’s 8 years old, medium/large, active and healthy, and good with all people. Not a fan of cats, great with friendly dogs. She loves taking walks outside!
