Connecting homeless dogs with people who want to foster!

Adopt Me, Foster Me, We Need Homes

Meet Tuk Tuk & Chintu the Survivor Shepherds

Looking for a foster home or adopter – together if possible (will need patience to adjust to their new home in NY). 9 months old, about 35 lbs each. Shiba Inu / Shepherd mixes. Good with dogs and cats. Scroll to bottom of this post for contact info.

Meet Tuk Tuk and Chintu from Nepal!

Both were rescued in November 2016. Tuk Tuk and his sibling were found in the middle of road without their mother nearby. They were 2 months old at the time. They were left to die in the street without any food or shelter.

Tuk Tuk was suffering from pneumonia, and his sibling was covered with thorns all over his body. After a few days, his sibling passed away but Tuk Tuk survived. He received proper vet care and was placed in a foster care with a nice lady- Shree Jana, in Nepal. It was there in his foster home, where Tuk Tuk met Chintu.

Chintu was rescued by Shree Jana after he was found lying helpless in the streets suffering. A motorcycle had run him over, which broke his hind legs. Sadly, this is not uncommon in Nepal that a stray animal gets hit and left on their own. Someone also must have cut off his ear tips, though he’s still handsome no matter what!

Both Chintu and Tuk Tuk are neutered males. They are about 9 months old and up to date on vaccinations. They are very friendly and goofy. While Tuk Tuk might be a little reserved at first, he warms up very easily. Chintu is playful and friendly with everyone. We also tried them with cats and they are good with cats as well.

While these two dogs would love to stay together, the rescue group is open to separating them for the right homes. Together = ideal! They both need training, and are not yet housebroken due to no previous training.

Look at them play so nicely!!
