Photos: Celebridog Day at CB2

CB2 had celebridog afternoon to benefit dog rescue, and it was a huge success!

Thanks to a donation directly from CB2 plus your generous in-store donations on April 29th, Foster Dogs raised $3,400 for our nonprofit efforts!

We look forward to allocating these funds for special projects, including Famous Fosters, WorkshopsOperation Foster Bound, Fospice, & more. As a nonprofit organization, we rely on donations from people like you – and supportive corporations who care about animal rescue!

Photographers Marshall Boprey @bopreyphoto and Stacey Axelrod @nycpetphotographer got some fabulous shots of visitors to our CB2 in-store event on April 29th, which raised funds for Foster Dogs Inc. With treats from maison de pawZ, all the pups were extra-happy.

CB2 stores nationwide were raising money for their local animal welfare organizations on April 29th, and Foster Dogs Inc was lucky enough to bring pups to both NYC locations: SoHo & Eastside.

SOHO:

@wallythewelshcorgi greeted customers and posed for photos. There’s nothing like hugging a Corgi – big fluffy body, short stumpy legs, hilarious personality!

Our volunteers brought some precious foster dogs who were all looking for homes, one of whom (Eddie) found a wonderful home that day! We played with Eddie, Ranger, Zayne, and Betty, all up for adoption with Friends with Four Paws (having arrived that morning in NYC from Oklahoma!). Photographer Stacey Axelrod caught the adorableness of our day:

EASTSIDE:

At CB2’s Eastside location, we had a Doodle party with @puppynamedcharlie. Remember last year’s “Doodle Cuddles” event at CB2 Eastside? Well, this was just as adorable. So much fluff, so little time!

Photographers Marshall Boprey and Lindsey Sabanosh were there in the Eastside store to document the day. Adoptable dogs Maxi & Allie (Found My Animal), Chiquita (PupStarz Rescue), Gracie (Waggytail Rescue), Betty White (Friends with Four Paws), and Rambo (Ready for Rescue) took over the space and made sure to show off their cuteness to all our guests!

Fostering saves lives and is so cool, it’s important to keep spreading the word and showing others that this is making a real difference. Foster Dogs Inc saved ONE DOG EVERY DAY in 2016. One every day! Pretty sweet stuff.

Last year, our Doodle Cuddles event at CB2 hosted by @samsonthedood & @hudsonthegoldendoodle raised $300 from people donating just $5 per pic with the doods, and was tons of fun – plus one of the four foster dogs in attendance got adopted that day! 🙂 Watch our hilarious video coverage of Doodle Cuddles.
