Meet the Host: Stacey Axelrod
Stacey Axelrod uses her background in Photojournalism to advocate for animal rescue through multimedia storytelling and creative campaigns. She has been involved in animal rescue throughout the last decade and previously worked as the Staff Photographer at both the ASPCA and Best Friends Animal Society in New York City.
Stacey currently runs her own business (NYC Pet Photographer) in Brooklyn, NY, and offers pro-bono photography services for local rescue organizations. Why We Foster is inspired by all the people she has met and stories she has heard while volunteering with Foster Dogs since 2015.
Stacey’s work has been featured in international publications including: The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, BBC, Forbes, Buzzfeed, The Huffington Post, People, The Daily Mail, The Dodo, BarkPost, and Good Morning America.
